Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishnaa

According to Srimad Bhagavata written by Veda Vyasa and undoubtedly interpolated by our beloved Brahmins, Sri Krishna was 125 years old when he repeated The Bhagavad Gita lecture to a guy called Uddhava. That's why it is called Uddhava Gita. Sri Krishna died shortly {probably a few months} after this lecture. If he was 125 years when he died and if he died 36 years after The Kurukshetra War as it is generally assumed then He would be 89 years old at the time of war. Is the date of Sri Krishna's birth that I suggested in my older posts wrong?

Now, I should say Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishnaa. No. I am not chanting His name nor am I calling Him to solve this problem. Why do we need the Lord God to solve this problem when a person like me who is no better than a blade of grass can pull it off? That a blade of grass can be turned into the mighty Earth melting Brahmastra is a different matter altogether. He He He.

Krishna Krishna Krishna Krishnaa

There is a Krishna then there is a Krishna then there is a Krishna and then there is a Krishnaa. There are at least 4 persons with the name or epithet of Krishna. The fourth Krishna is not obsessed with numerology to add an unnecessary 'a' after Krishna like some of our celebrities and politicians.

The Sanskrit word Krishna simply means "Dark" or "Black". So, in chronological order, the four Krishnas were

Krishna - Krishna Dwaipayana Vyasa more famously known as Veda Vyasa
Krishna - Sri Krishna
Krishna - Arjuna {Arjuna is supposed to be born a few hours after Sri Krishna} and
Krishnaa - Draupadi

That's why some people refer to Sri Krishna and Arjuna in The Kurukshetra War as "Two Krishnas in one Ratha." The Sanskrit word Ratha means Chariot. I did not learn Sanskrit nor am I willing to. Why should I? Read the Brahminical interpolations first hand? I will not.

If we give the information in the Srimad Bhagavata the benefit of doubt instead of summarily kicking it into the dustbin; then who is the Krishna who was 125 years old? It is Veda Vyasa. If what we are reading in The Mahabharata is true, Veda Vyasa is born decades before Bhishma and died probably a year or two after Sri Krihna's death.

The known and gathered information about Veda Vyasa's birth is that he was born on the full moon day of the month of Aashada. He was born on an island. That's why he was called "Krishna Dwaipayana". The dark one who was born on an island. Dwipa means Island. I think the island referred to here is none other than Dwaraka. The kingdom of Sri Krishna which sunk into sea.

Based on these details the date I suggest for Veda Vyasa's birth is

Date Of Birth : 7 Jun -825 {Julian}
Time Of Birth : 03:53:38 {Military Time} 4:35 East Of GMT
Place Of Birth : Dwaraka 68 E 58' 00" 22 N 14' 00"

I don't know Vedic Astrology. I will not learn astrology without first solving ayanamsha and first point of Aries headache. I hope to solve it before I kick the bucket. I solved the time of birth of Veda Vyasa very simply. Around the time I suggested Pournimasya is at 100%. He He He. I used Jagannatha Hora v.7.6.4.0

Though I did not learn astrology there is a brilliant technique in vedic astrology called Rectification of Birth Time in which the astrologers ascertain the time of birth basing on the incidents that took place in a person's life.

Ayanamsha And The Precession Of The Equinoxes

These days I started wondering whether Ayanamsha and The Precession Of The Equinoxes are really one and the same. I don't think they are. I think there is a difference. To put it very simply, just as the orbital period of the moon is different from the synodic month; the Ayanamsha is different from The Precession Of The Equinoxes. Though they are apparently similar.

In the post "The World Destroying Time" dated 21 Feb. 2012; though I said I would explain the nearly 1800 years difference between Sri Yukteswar Ayanamsha and the Precession of the Equinoxes as observed by modern science, I failed to explain it. I am really sorry. I could only show how other numbers like the number of days in an orbital period of the moon, the synodic month, the number of days in a solar year can all be derived from the number 54 and I was able to show the number used by ancient Indians as an approximation of Pi (333/106). What caught my attention about those numbers was that they are not lengthy decimals like those observed by modern science; but they are quite close to the numbers given by science. And when you multiply with 24,000. They don't leave a decimal number, and are exactly precise to the last day.

I attempt an explanation to the roughly 1800 year difference. I might be wrong but please consider it.

Sri Yukteswar's Ayanamsha deviation per year is 0°0'54".

Science puts the Rate of Precession around 0°0'50.2" to 0°0'50.3". The rate per year is not constant.

360*60*60=1296000"

If you take 0°0'54"

1296000/54= 24,000 Solar Years.

As observed by science,

1296000/50.2=25816.733067729083665338645418327 Solar Years

1296000/50.3=25765.407554671968190854870775348 Solar Years

So, it is somewhere between 25,765 Solar Years to 25,816 Solar Years.

If you take 25,772 years, then the rate of precession will be around,

1296000/25,772=50.287133322986186559056340214186" Arc Seconds.

Ancient Indians, obviously, paid more attention to the synodic month than the orbital period of the moon. The synodic month is generally measured from New Moon to the next New Moon. Remember, a synodic month is roughly 2 days longer than the orbital period. So, if you are considering the synodic month from the orbital period, the moon doesn't just cover the 360° but covers another 26°40'. Roughly covering  386°40'. This is because of the simple reason that measurement is from New Moon to next New Moon and not a point on the circumference of a circle, (in this case, not a fixed point on the orbit).

For example, let's assume, a new moon occured exactly on 6°40' of Krittika Nakshatra dividing the nakshatra exactly into two halves. The next new moon occurs not at 6°40' of Krittika Nakshatra but in Mrigashira Nakshatra. For convenience, let's assume it occured exactly on centre of Mrigashira Nakshatra. So, totally, 360°(Full Revolution) + 6°40' of Remaining Krittika Nakshatra + 13°20' of Rohini Nakshatra + 6°40' of Mrigasira Nakshatra.

360°+26°40'=386°40'. This is because we are not following the Orbital period but the Synodic Period. New Moon to New Moon.

In Vedic astrology, the each nakshatra of 13°20'00" are further divided into 4 parts of 3°20'00" each. They are referred to as Padas. In a zodiac sign of 30 Degrees; you will have 9 Padas of three consecutive nakshatras. I always wondered about these padas. What real purpose were they serving? Dividing the cosmos into 27 Nakshatras itself is quite a punishment. And then a nakshatra into 4 Padas? Easier said than done. There will be 108 Padas in 360 Degrees.

Now, what happens when we mutiply 25,772 with 54?

25,772*54=1391688. Well, you will end up covering greater than 360 Degrees.

360° = 1296000" Arc Seconds.

1391688-1296000=95688.

You will cover 95688 Arc Seconds extra. This number when written in Degrees° Minutes' Seconds"?

95310= 26°34'48".

Now,

8 Padas = 26°40'00" or 96000 Arc Seconds.

Suppose, we add 1296000+96000=1392000

and divide with 54?

1392000/54=25777.777777777777777777777777778 !!!

The above number, is it the period in years for the Precession of the Equinoxes to come back to the same point?

Now, I think we know why the Padas are used.

My explanation might look ridiculous. First download the free book "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach" by P.V.R. Narasimha Rao. He's the guy who created the freeware Vedic astrology software program, Jagannatha Hora. You will find the link in Jagannatha Hora website. In that book, In "1.3.8 Tithis and Lunar Calendar", he explains how the tithis are calculated. Please remember; the calculations in the book are not the author's. He is just showing how the Ancient Indians calculated the tithis. In "1.3.8.1 Tithis" P.V.R. Narasimha Rao says, "In lunar calendar, one day stands for one tithi. Tithi or lunar day is a period in which the difference between the longitudes of Moon and Sun changes by exactly 12°."

There are 30 tithis in one month. So, 30°*12=360°. NEVER FORGET, THIS IS THE SYNODIC MONTH AND NOT THE ORBITAL PERIOD OF THE MOON.

Then why does it work? Because it is a method used to calculate the position of the Moon from The Sun. It does not calculate the position of the moon on its orbit.

In the same way, the ayanamsha is not a method to calculate a point on the orbit. It is a method to calculate the position of Our Beloved Sun in relation to the centre of the galaxy in it's path around it's dual. Just as the moon, though it is revolving around the earth, the tithi is given in reference to the Sun. Sri Yukteswar clearly says, in page 8 of The Holy Science, "... and the sun, with its planets and their moons, takes some star for its dual and revolves round it in about 24,000 years of our earth-a celestial phenomenon which causes the backward movement of the equinoctial points around the zodiac."

When Sri Yukteswar was writing the book in 1894, he must have referred to the Precession of the Equinoxes as an immediate proof for his statements about the dual.

--- --- --- --- ---

There is a chance that my 54 to the power of 4 is some kind of mnemonic which the Ancient Indians used and I bumped into it quite unwittingly.

A better way of calculationg the Draconitic Year :-

54*54*54*54=8503056
54 to the power of 4 = 8503056.
360 Degrees = 1296000 Seconds
1296000/50=25920
8503056/25920=328.05
328.05/12=27.3375 -- Orbital Period Of Moon.
27.3375*333=9103.3875
9103.3875/27=337.1625
337.1625/12=28.096875
28.096875*333/27=346.528125
346.528125 -- Draconitic Year
Science puts it at 346.620075883 Days in a Draconitic year.

The World Destroying Time

...there is no new thing under the sun.
Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
The Bible
Ecclesiastes Chapter-1 : Verses 9-11

The Blessed Lord said:
I am the World Destroying Time,
The Bhagavad Gita - 11:32

...he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
The Bible - Psalms 46:6

...among luminaries I am the radiating Sun;...among heavenly bodies, I am the Moon.
...among measurers, I am Time...
...I am immutable Time...
...I am all-dissolving Death...
The Bhagavad Gita - 10:21-34

I am the rod of the discipliners; I am the art of those who seek victory; I am also the silence of all hidden things, and the wisdom of all knowers.
The Bhagavad Gita - 10:38

Be still, and know that I am God...
The Bible - Psalms 46:10

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM...
The Bible - Exodus 3:14

The Self is known to everyone but not clearly. You always exist. The Be-ing is the Self. ‘I am’ is the name of God. Of all the definitions of God, none is indeed so well put as the Biblical statement “I AM THAT I AM” in EXODUS (Chap. 3). There are other statements, such as Brahmaivaham, Aham Brahmasmi and Soham. But none is so direct as the name JEHOVAH = I AM. The Absolute Being is what is - It is the Self. It is God. Knowing the Self, God is known. In fact God is none other than the Self.

The Bible says, “Be still and know that I am God”. Stillness is the sole requisite for the realisation of the Self as God.

Later Sri Bhagavan said the whole Vedanta is contained in the two Biblical statements:
“I am that I AM” and “Be still and know that I am God.”

Sri Yukteswar's Ayanamsha deviation per year is 0°0'54".

The greatest hurdle to Sri Yukteswar's yuga theory comes from science. Science says rate of Precession Of The Equinoxes is around 0°0'50.2" to 0°0'50.3". The rate per year is not constant much to everybody's headache, and more importantly to me. There is roughly 1800 years difference between Sri Yukteswar's 24,000 and the 25,772 years as observed by science. I noticed this difference on day one of my study of ayanamsha. Though I fixed the dates of the incidents in The Mahabharata in July. 2009, this 1,800 years difference became a nagging problem for me. For more than one year I tortured myself trying to find sense. In Sept./Oct. 2010, after failing many many times, I got tired and just started playing with the calculator. It's then that I found the answer. The number which opens the secret of the cosmos.

24,000 years is the time The Sun takes to revolve around "The Dual". A "Year" is measured" in different ways. So, we must know what the Ancients mean by Year. A Solar Year and a Lunar Year and most importantly how they united the Lunar Year and The Solar Year to make the Luni-Solar Calendar.

There is only one number which everyone should remember and using that number you can find out all other important numbers.

It is the two digit number 54.

54*54*54*54=8503056

54 to the power of 4 = 8503056.

8503056 Total number of days in 24,000 year period.

8503056/24000=354.294 -- This is the LUNAR YEAR.

354.294/12=29.5245 -- This is the Synodic Month

Science puts it at 29.530589 Days.

29.5245*37=1092.4065. According to Vedic Astrology, 37 Synodic Months = 3 Solar Years.

1092.4065/3=364.1355 -- This is the SOLAR YEAR

WAIT! YOU WILL SAY TO ME. THERE ARE ROUGHLY 365.25 DAYS IN A SOLAR YEAR? WHAT IS 364.1355 !!??

There is an ancient calendar called the "Enoch Calendar", it has only 364 days. An intercalary day or two is added occasionally. Just as we have one day extra in every leap year. I feel that the Enoch Calendar itself is based on a much older calendar.

364*8=2912 -- Enoch Calendar

364.1355*8=2913.084 (2812+1)

In "Vedic Astrology: An Integrated Approach", a book written by the software developer of Jagannatha Hora, P.V.R Narasimha Rao; while explaining the Indian calendar chose 355 days as the round figure.

355/12=29.5833333333 Days

29.5833333333*37=1094.58333333

1094.58333333/3=364.861111111

364.861111111 -- PVR's Solar year.

When we say "day" we generally mean the 24 Hour period. But when the ancients say "day", they mean the period when there is sunlight. And the period between sunset and sunrise is "night". And the roughly 24 Hour period is referred to as "Ahoratra".

Ahoratra = 1 Day + 1 Night.

1200 Solar Years -- Kali Yuga
2400 Solar Years -- Dwapara Yuga
3600 Solar Years -- Treta Yuga
4800 Solar Years -- Satya Yuga

1200+2400+3600+4800=12000 Solar Years

12000 Solar Years = "Age of the Gods" or "divine age" or Daiva Yuga.

Thousand Daiva Yugas = One Day Of Brahma.

1000*12000=12000000 = One Day Of Brahma

An equal time is a One "Night" of Brahma.

12000000+12000000=24000000 Solar Years -- An Ahoratra Of Brahma.

I feel 10 Ahoratras of Brahma = 1 Revolution around our Galaxy.

24,000,000*10=240,000,000 Solar Years. {I may be wrong.}

Just as we don't expect The Sun to appear suddenly and shine brightly right on our heads in the middle of the night (as it does in mid-day), we should not expect that a Satya Yuga will come right after a Kali Yuga. The yugas also have an ascending and descending order. After 1200 years of Descending Kali Yuga you will have another 1200 years of Ascending Kali Yuga, then Ascending Dwapara Yuga, Ascending Treta Yuga...

Descending Dwapara Yuga started in 3102 BC.
Descending Kali Yuga started in 702 BC.
Ascending Kali Yuga started in AD 499.
Ascending Dwapara Yuga started in AD 1699.
Ascending Treta Yuga starts in AD 4099.

The real noose around my neck comes now. What is an Age Of Brahma? Paramahansa Yogananda refers to an "Age Of Brahma" in a footnote in "Autobiography of a Yogi". Chapter 16. Outwitting The Stars.

As these time scales are a sequence, What is an "Year Of Brahma"? If it is there? And How many such "Years Of Brahma" make an "Age Of Brahma"? And to make matters even worse, Paramahansa Yogananda connected the time scale to space. How? By bringing that famous mathematical constant "pi" (22/7) into the picture. If he is not talking about area why does he need pi? I don't even know Mathematical tables and I have to deal with "pi". As I was chatting on the internet with a girl - an engineering student - she asked me, "How much is 2 times 2?" I told her 2 kisses on one cheek and 2 kisses on the other makes ten kisses all over the face. She has very beautiful eyes.

First big problem with pi, as you all know, is that the precision increases it does not stop. If "Age Of Brahma" is a set number of Daiva Yugas, it implies that the precision stops at some point. So, what is it? The sentence, "The life span for a whole universe, according to the ancient seers, is 314,159,000,000,000 solar years, or “One Age of Brahma.”" in Yogananda's footnote; simply becomes meaningless. Paramahansa Yogananda never tried to correct the wrong views of the Hindus the way his master Sri Yukteswar did. May be he simply thought, "Let sleeping dogs lie."

Aryabhata's 62832/20000=3.1416. Even if it is right, where or how do these numbers fit into the yuga theory? What is the connection?

Though I found the connection between 24,000 years and 54 to the power of 4 in Sept./Oct. 2010 the torture continued till 16 Feb 2012 - till I found a connection between pi and "Solar Year".

It's not sufficient if you have a number it should have a connection with the other numbers used in the yuga theory. The hint lies in the phrase "solar years" mentioned in the footnote in "Outwitting The Stars" in Yogananda's Autobiography.

You should not take either the days or the years into consideration. It is the months. 37 Synodic Months = 3 Solar Years

364.1355 Days in Solar Year

354.294 Days in Lunar year

Difference is
364.1355-354.294=9.8415 Days.

In 24000 years it is 9.8415*24000=236196 Days.

In Synodic Months 236196/29.5245=8000. Exactly 8000 Synodic Months.

There are 288000 Synodic months in 24000 Lunar Years.

288000+8000=296000 Synodic months = 24000 years with 364.1355 Days each.

333/37=9

The number I suggest is
333/106=3.14150943396226 {The sequence of numbers "4150943396226" keeps repeating.}

The general consensus is that the ancient Indians did not know about the 12-Sign Zodiac, though they knew about the nakshatras. It is also thought that they did not know about eclipses till Aryabhata turned up. The historians, archaeologists, astro-archaeologists, scientists, all are of the opinion that ancient Indians thought that an Asura called Rahu swallowed the Sun and The Moon.

333/37=9

37 Synodic Months = 3 Solar Years

A year is divided into 12 months. If my 333/106 is right, and if the months are more important than the days or years, this very condition implies that the ancient Indians divided the cosmos into 12 Zodiac signs. Not only that...

106*29.5245=3129.597

3129.597/9=347.733 Days

There are 347.733 Days in a Draconic Year.

Science gives a number close to the number I arrived at for a Draconic Year. As the word indicates. It has everything to do with Rahu and Ketu, also called "Dragon's Head" and "Dragons Tail" or "ascending node" and "descending node" respectively. 347.733 shows that Ancient Indians knew about eclipses and their causes and also know how to predict an eclipse. They are not imbeciles like the later day Hindus to assume that an asura called Rahu is making a meal of The Sun and The Moon. If the historians, scientists and others do not find information in the books, well, I will remind them of their own rule. "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence". I also ask a simple question. Which is easier? Dividing the cosmos into 12 zodiac signs or into 27 Nakshatras?

When I say "Ancient Indians" I refer to people who lived in and in places very close to present day political boundaries of India and who belong to a time period before 702 BC. I DO NOT want to refer to Ancient Indians as "Hindus". I have a fear that they will curse me if I do so.

Some other calculations...

54 to the power 5

54*54*54*54*54=459165024

459165024/354.294=1296000

360 Degrees = 1296000 Seconds

37*27=999

1296000/50=25920

8503056/25920=328.05

328.05/12=27.3375 -- Orbital Period Of Moon.

Science puts it at 27.321582 Days

27.3375*333=9103.3875

9103.3875/27=337.1625

337.1625/12=28.096875

28.096875*13=365.259375 -- Is this the Average Sidereal year for 24,000 years?

Science puts it at 365.256363004 Days in a Sidereal year.

Then, how many Solar Years makes an Age Of Brahma? I do not know. I did not try to find it. For the past three years I was not just eating, drinking and sleeping ayanamsha, I was even breathing ayanamsha. I am tired.

So, the conclusion is, Ancient Indians Knew about,

Precession Of The Equinoxes,
pi, (333/106)
The 12 sign Zodiac and
Everything concerning eclipses
And most probably the "Space-Time".

Ashwatthaman Ended The Trojan War

This controversy is going to make Sri Jesus Christ's sexual adventure passé.

That fellow Mahatma Gandhi Experimented with Truth. I will tell the results.
Truth hurts. To tell the painful Truth in a shattering manner is a vice of mine.

The Truth about Ancient India...

Among the many subjects that Ancient India had mastered, it had also mastered the science of violence and perfected it into an art. Today, the World has a God given duty to listen when India speaks about Ahimsa.

Yeah... You are reading right. It is Ashwatthaman who put an end to The Trojan War. Before I make that clear you should first take a look at the most critical dates of The Mahabharata.

Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri's Ayanamsha is 00°00'00" on Vernal Equinox {March Equinox} of 0499. [ Assumed to be 22 Mar. 0499 Julian Calendar ]

Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri's Ayanamsha is 20°54'36" on Vernal Equinox {March Equinox} of 1893. [ Assumed to be 22 Mar. 1893 Gregorian Calendar ]

Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri's Ayanamsha Deviation per year is 00°00'54".

Don't worry if you do not know what an "Ayanamsha" is. Just read on.

{ All the following dates are according to Julian Calendar. }

Sri Krishna was born on 26 Jul. (Minus) 769. or on 26 Jul 770 BC.

REMEMBER -769 IS NOT EQUAL TO 769 BC.

Winter Solstice {December Solstice}. If it is not the date on which the Pandavas were banished then it is probably the date on which Princess Uttara was born. The day probably explains her name.

Just because The Kurukshetra War is a sensational incident it does not mean every aspect of the incident is sensational. Even sensational incidents have humble contributors. The eclipses at the time of The Kurukshetra War were very ordinary eclipses. There was not even a total solar eclipse at Kurukshetra. There is no "Thirteenth - Day Eclipse". It is Bhishma who waited for thirteen days before he dropped his body. And our great interpolating Brahmins jumbled up the texts and made a septic tank of Veda Vyasa's milk like work. In the Sixth Parva, actually called The Bhishma Parva, there are details of the planetary positions at the time of war. But, to make our lives miserable, there are two positons for Ketu also called "Dragon's Tail". Two positions for Mars, Two positions for Jupiter, and Rahu also called "Dragon's Head" is just a few degrees away from Ketu!!! Even a person who is learning the fundamentals of Vedic Astrology will say that Rahu is ALWAYS 180 Degrees away from Ketu. So the "Vedic Astrologers" who try to fix the date take the planetary positions that they find convenient... and yes, the planetary positions that tally with decades before 3100 BC. One guy even suggested a date which takes us back to some year prior to 5000 BC!!!

The planetary positions that you read in Bhishma Parva are NOT only of The Kurukshetra War but the jumbled up positions of four major incidents of The Mahabharata. First, The Birth of Sri Krishna; Second, The Solar Eclipse on December Solstice; Third, The Planetary positions at the time of The Kurukshetra War; and Fourth, The Tsunami at Dwaraka. As I said before, our great interpolating Brahmins jumbled up the texts and made a septic tank of Veda Vyasa's milk like work.

For further information, read my other post titled "The Holy Science".

Coming back to Ashwatthaman; there is a particular line in Karna Parva where Sanjaya says to Dhritarashtra, "Bhishma and Drona and Kripa and Drona's son and Karna and Arjuna and Janardana, those thorough masters of the science of weapons, are regarded by thee as the foremost of car-warriors."

I always felt the list of "Astra Vidya Nipunas" or experts of Astra Vidya is very small. And there are only seven names in this list. Five men fighting for the Kauravas and Sri Krishna and Arjuna representing the Pandavas. I really feel this line is by Veda Vyasa. Bhishma, Drona and Karna died in The Kurukshetra War. To be precise, Bhishma died a few days after the war.

According to The Mahabharata, Ashwatthaman killed a foetus though I feel he did something else interesting enough to get cursed by Sri Krishna.

Read these very critical lines in Sauptika Parva;

The holy one said, "The fall of this mighty weapon will not be fruitless. The foetus will die. But being dead, it will live again and have a long life! As regards thyself, all wise men know thee for a coward and a sinful wretch! Always engaged in sinful acts, thou art the slayer of children. For this reason, thou must have to bear the fruit of these thy sins. For 3,000 years thou shalt wander over this earth, without a companion and without being able to talk with anyone. Alone and without anybody by thy side, thou shalt wander through diverse countries, O wretch, thou shalt have no place in the midst of men. The stench of pus and blood shall emanate from thee, and inaccessible forests and dreary moors shall be thy abode! Thou shalt wander over the Earth, O thou of sinful soul, with the weight of all diseases on thee.

The heroic Parikshit, attaining to age and a knowledge of the Vedas and the practice of pious vows, shall obtain all weapons from the son of Sharadvata. Having obtained a knowledge of all high weapons, and observant of all kshatriya duties, that righteous-souled king shall rule the earth for sixty years. More than this, that boy shall become the mighty-armed king of the Kurus, known by the name of Parikshit, before thy very eyes, O thou of wicked soul! Though burnt by the energy of thy weapon's fire, I shall revive him. O lowest of men, behold the energy of my austerities and my truth."

The "Holy One" is Sri Krishna. He must have said 30. Our Brahmin geniuses must have made it 3000. India's greatest contribution is said to be zero and our Brahmins put it wherever they please. Sri Krishna must have made love to 16 women. Brahmins made it 16,000. IN THE PAST IT IS ONLY BRAHMINS WHO HAD ACCESS TO THESE BOOKS. SO, IT IS TAKEN FOR GRANTED THAT THE BRAHMINS INTERPOLATED, EDITED AND RAPED THE BOOKS. "INTERPOLATION" is a very gentle word to use in reference to what Brahmins did to Veda Vyasa's epic. If some lines are nightmarish schizophrenic hallucinations, then some are delusions of grandeur and with occasional sexual fantasies about the queens. May be we would again need the Brahmin interpolators to coin a word for what they did. I really wonder what Veda Vyasa would say if he sees his "epic" now.

Sri Krishna must have said 30. And he probably said that Parikshit would live for 60 years and not as written. Sri Krishna was 66 years and 6 Months old when he died on 15 Feb -702. Sri Krishna was 39 at the time of war. Ashwatthaman would be between 32 and 36 at the time of war. Add 30 to that and he too would be probably dead by the time he was 62 or 66 or 70 maximum. He would certainly be at least 4 years younger than the youngest Kuru prince. If what we read in the Mahabharata is true, Drona came to Hastinapura for the sake of his young and very innocent little son, Ashwatthaman who needed milk. And Drona ended up as the teacher of the Kuru princes who were already around 8 to 10 years old. Even if we do give the Brahmins the benefit of doubt and assume it is 3000; then I feel it would be through a series of lifetimes and not one single lengthy lifetime as Hindus were given to understand by the Brahmins.

Only four Astra Vidya experts were alive after the war. Kripacharya, Sri Krishna, Arjuna and the absolutely impulsive Ashwatthaman. And Ashwatthaman was told to get out. "Banished" if you want to use a better word.

From that point on Ashwatthaman was a stinking expert archer and a vagabond.

And in a place called Ilion also called Troy, the Greeks were fighting against the Trojans. Very nice. And the Greeks were told that the bow of Hercules has to be used if the Greeks wanted victory. Who has this bow? It is with a guy called Philoctetes. What is his description? PHILOCTETES IS A STINKING EXPERT ARCHER IN RAGS!!!

LIKE MY READERS, I TOO DO NOT BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCES.

Before we derive our conclusions let's know the Greek version of who Philoctetes was.

Philoctetes was a Greek king and was one of Helen's suitors. He joined the other Greeks along with his army to attack Troy. But on their way to Troy they all stopped at some island where a snake bit Mr. Philoctetes. And the injury filled with pus started stinking. Unable to bear the stink, the Greeks left Philoctetes on the island obviously without his knowledge. And the Greeks sailed to Troy along with the army of Philoctetes. At the end of the tenth year, after Achilles died, the Greeks realised that they need Philoctetes if they have to take Troy. So they decided to bear the stink and they bring that stinking expert archer in rags. Philoctetes kills Paris. And in the meanwhile Odysseus comes with his "Trojan Horse" idea.

Now, my contention is this...

The Greeks were not going to attend a party when they were going to Troy. They were going there to wage a war. After a long day's war anyone would stink because of the sweat, dirt and blood, that too if he is lucky enough to be alive in the first place. In a war, a person being skilled is more important than how he smells.

So, I feel Ashwatthaman must have gone there and his presence put an end to the war. Whether the Greeks fought for ten years or not is immaterial. Whether they were fighting for Helen or not also is immaterial. Ashwatthaman must have seen the Greeks fighting against the Trojans. How did he become the friend of Greeks? I do not know. May be the intelligent Odysseus played a crucial role in the hand shake.

Within a few fleeting moments Ashwatthaman must have wiped out the entire city of Troy of all of its able bodied men. May be the only thing he allowed the Greeks to do was to rape the Trojan women, kill the children and burn the city. Or in one word "desTROY".

What are the Greek soldiers going to tell their children, wives and parents after they go home? That they fought for a long long time without even successfully making a hole in the wall of Troy? That a Nobody from Nowhere came and finished the job in the blink of an eye and walked away? And that their only significant contribution to the Trojan War is raping the helpless unprotected women of Troy? Many Greeks from many small kingdoms came to Troy. Each group must have created a story each. Two stories remained unto this day. In one version Ashwatthaman is introduced to us as a Greek king called Philoctetes and the other, the more famous one. The "Trojan Horse". A gigantic wooden horse that finally desTROYed Troy. Ashwatthaman is that "Trojan Horse". The meaning of the word "Ashwatthaman" is "He whose laughter resembles the neighing of a horse". "Ashwa" means "Horse".

Honestly, I cannot give a good solution to how Ashwatthaman communicated with the Greeks. Obviously, Ashwatthaman had a bow in his hand, that should indicate that he is either a warrior, or a hunter. And in rags should show that he is in need of financial help. And certainly he would be hungry. May be Odysseus approached him with a plate of food. And in return Ashwatthaman must have done them a little service -that of wiping out Troy. The Greeks must have in some way were able to ask him his name and probably Ashwatthaman simply pointed to a Horse.

The Greeks may not like my theory. And as I had all along been saying that the Brahmins interpolated the epics of India. The Greeks might use it against me and say that it's the Brahmins who deliberately created this situation after reading or becoming familiar with The Greek Epic Cycle. It is true that The Mahabharata reached its present form somewhere in the Fourth Century AD some 600 to 700 years after Alexander's visit to India with his "World Conquest". There is a very high chance of Brahmins having borrowed heavily from The Greek Epic Cycle. I will never overrule that possibility. But I have a very simple question here. Then how are the Greeks going to explain Philoctetes' absence for nearly ten years? That the fellow is stinking and hence left on the island is pure BULLSHIT. Let the Greeks come with a more logical reason. The Greeks certainly cannot accuse the Brahmins of interpolating the Greek Epic Cycle. It is not Brahmins who said that Philoctetes was not a part of the Trojan War till the fag end. The Greeks say that.

Now, for a critical Astrological or Astronomical question. The scientists say that Odysseus returned home on 16 Apr. 1178 BC?

Use the FREEWARE Vedic Astrology Software Jagannatha Hora v.7.33. And keep toggling between Sayana and Swami Sri Yukteswar's Ayanamshas. I don't say the software is precise but it serves the purpose and above all it's FREE.

The scientists give these planetary details...Odysseus is told to watch the Pleiades {Krittika} and late-setting Boötes {Swati} and keep the Great Bear to his left. Next, five days before the supposed eclipse, Odysseus arrives in Ithaca as the Star of Dawn - that is, Venus - rises ahead of the sun. And that there was a solar eclipse close to noon local time and Mercury was in retrograde.

I say that the scientists chose a date which tallied with their archaeological findings. They did not fix the date completely basing on the planetary positions. The Sun and the Moon were in or near Pleiades {Krittika} on 16 Apr. 1178 BC. But why was Odysseus also asked to take a look at Boötes {Swati}? There are no planets there. Only Ketu. And let me remind my readers that Ketu is not a planet. It is not even a tangible celestial object. It is called a "Chhaya Graha" or "Shadow Planet" in Vedic astrology. It is also referred to only as a "mathematical point" by some astrologers. So what was Odysseus told to look at? And Mercury was in retrograde motion a couple of months before the said eclipse. And the "Maximum Eclipse" occured around 20 minutes after 12:00.

Now, consider the date I suggest. 19 Oct. -703. It was also a day of solar eclipse at Ithaca. The "Maximum Eclipse" occurred around 20 minutes before 12:00. There are no planets in or near Pleiades {Krittika}. The Sun and the Moon are in the constellation called Boötes {Swati} roughly 180° away from Pleiades {Krittika}. Mercury is in Retrograde motion. And Venus is 10° ahead of the sun though in retrograde motion. Then why was "Pleiades" {Krittika} referred to if there were no planets there? Well, this is what Wikipedia had to say about Pleiades {Krittika} star cluster, "It is among the nearest star clusters to Earth and is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky." So, I say Odysseus was first told to look at Pleiades {Krittika} and then look exactly opposite at Boötes {Swati} which is roughly 180° away from Pleiades {Krittika}.

Personally, I cannot pinpoint the constellation Pleiades {Krittika} much less the Boötes {Swati}. Though Krittika also happens to be my Janma Nakshatra. For all I care the stars are only the haphazard droppings of strange birds on the floor called "Sky". Yo, I am becoming poetic. Having read Brahmin interpolations for so long I too am getting poetic. Hope it doesn't get to epic proportions.

The solar eclipse which took Odysseus home was the very same eclipse which was like a rattle before the strike for Dwaraka. Some five or six months after the eclipse Dwaraka was struck by a tsunami. If the date I suggested is really a potential candidate for the return of Odysseus to Ithaca then I can say with even greater confidence that Ashwatthaman was at Troy months or years before Odysseus returned home.

I will not be surprised if it is Ashwatthaman who killed Achilles and also the men who were troubling the wife of Odysseus when Odysseus returned to Ithaca. Achilles was killed by an archer during the days of mourning for Hector. I do not think the Trojans had a hand in his death. Ashwatthaman's unearthly skill must have made both the Greeks and the Trojans to think they were dealing with a god; though the stink made them have second thoughts. Ashwatthaman's killing of Achilles and then wiping out Troy probably made the people think the gods were fighting both ends. Though I do not accept that Ashwatthaman had a precious stone studded in his forehead which was pulled out by Bhima; Ashwatthaman must have had an injury on his forehead which did not heal. His grotesque appearance probably is the source for the creation of the character of Polyphemus {The Cyclops} in The Odyssey.

For a long time I thought Astra Vidya is the inimitable imagination of the Brahmin interpolators. But if my suspicion that Ashwatthaman went to Troy is true, then he must use Astra Vidya or else he is just an old helpless stinking cripple no better or no worse than you or me. It also shows that the great epics The Mahabharata and The Iliad are highly romanticized versions of real life incidents. And most importantly that there really is a technique of warfare called "Astra Vidya".

I feel Ashwatthaman was more sinned against than sinning. It is absolutely miserable that the hero of two epics of two entirely different cultures is remembered only as an animal. The Hindus made an elephant out of him when they said "Ashwatthaman Hathaha. Kunjaraha" and The Greeks turned him into a Gigantic Wooden Horse. I really want to take a look at his horoscope and also his resumé.

How about a three hour movie on this?

What Uppaluri Gopala Krishnamurti, that Maha Rathi of recent times said about his teaching; I want to say the same thing about my "theory".

My "theory", if that is the word you want to use, has no copyright. You are free to reproduce, distribute, interpret, misinterpret, distort, garble, do what you like, even claim authorship, without my consent or the permission of anybody.

I don't care a damn if somebody wants to make a movie on this. But in case Sofia Coppola decides to then I don't mind writing the screenplay.

Let me start another ".90 caliber pezzonovante" of a controversy. In the novel, The Godfather, Johnny Fontane is Paris, Jack Woltz represents the entire Greek host, Don Vito Corleone represents the whole of Troy and Jack Woltz's "most valuable protégées" who "could suck you out like a water pump" is Helen and "Khartoum", the "six hundred thousand dollar" horse is "The Trojan Horse". Jack Woltz "wakes" up to find the head of his horse.

Why did Mario Puzo indulge in that farce? Well, The Italians trace their lineage to the Trojans and according to Homer, The Trojans dragged the "wooden horse" into the city of Troy, celebrated the end of the war by getting dead drunk and they "woke" up to find Troy taken. So, the novelist Mario Puzo, engaged in a kind of a literary vendetta by creating the "Khartoum" incident. Mario Puzo certainly has a message for Homer, "It's just storytelling. Nothing personal."

I do not know how I could correlate Ashwatthaman and Philoctetes. May be, I am Ashwatthaman in my past life. HE HE HE. Hope I neighed well. HE HE HE.

It is because of masters like Sri Sri Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri Maharaj that India has an iota of meaning for me.

The Holy Science

The introduction in the book "The Holy Science" by Sri Sri Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri Maharaj itself has enough power to shake India into its foundations.

Before I give my reasons, I should first point out to small but very critical typographical errors in this book.

In page 14 of the introduction, the line should read as follows, "From 11,502 B.C., when the Autumnal Equinox..." And NOT as printed.

In page 20 of the introduction, the line should read as follows, "...the Vernal Equinox at spring in the year 1893." And NOT as printed.

Now, my reasons...

Vedic Astrology depends on the "Ayanamsha". Until the ayanamsha is given nobody can fix the date of any event or know the horoscope of a person.

Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri is the only Vedic astrologer who mentioned the most sensible year of occurance in reference to the events mentioned in The Mahabharata. He gave the two most critical details; the ayanamsha and the year of the starting of Kali Yuga, and I -using nothing more than common sense and a willingness to verify what Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri has said- was able to fix the rest of the dates quite effortlessly.

Sri Krishna was born on 26 Jul. -769 00:00:00 {Around Midnight}.

Remember -769 is not equal to 769 BC.

The planetary positions are as follows...

Lagna is Rohini
Sun is in Magha
Moon is in Rohini
Mars is in Mrigashira
Mercury is in Magha
Jupiter is in Anuradha
Venus is in Purva Phalguni

20 Dec. -744 -- Solar Eclipse.
04 Jan. -743 -- Lunar Eclipse.

Planetary Positions on 20 Dec. -744 -- Solar Eclipse.

There is a definite reference to this date though I cannot ascertain the incident connected to it. This date obviously has something to do with “The Uttarayana”. Winter Solstice {December Solstice}. If it is not the date on which the Pandavas were banished then it is probably the date on which Princess Uttara was born. The day probably explains her name.

Sun is in Uttara Ashada
Moon is in Uttara Ashada
Mars is in Anuradha
Mercury is in Purva Ashada

And Sri Krishna died on 15 Feb -702. At the age of 66 Years. One year before Kali Yuga started.

05 Mar. -701 -- Solar Eclipse almost on "The First Point Of Aries". {Fourth Pada of Revati.}
22 Mar. -701 -- Descending Kali Yuga starts

I gave the planetary positions of four incidents; The Birth of Sri Krishna, The Solar Eclipse on December Solstice, The First Day of Kurukshetra War and The Solar Eclipse before the Tsunami at Dwaraka. Vedic astrologers who try to fix the date of the Kurukshetra War do so by taking the lines in the Bhishma Parva of The Mahabharata. What we read in the Bhishma Parva are the jumbled up positions of the planets of all the four incidents that I mentioned. THEY ARE NOT ENTIRELY THE PLANETARY POSITIONS AT THE TIME OF WAR.

What Swami Sri Yukeswar Giri gave us is NOT a breakthrough in vedic Astrology. He is the only Vedic Astrologer who probably did a little to restore Vedic Astrology to its pristine glory. May be he would have suggested many more modifications had the Hindus been more receptive to what he had to say instead of throwing stones at him. Indians, especially the Hindus should give an apology to Swami Sri Yukteswar like the Vatican's apology to Galileo Galilei.

What follows now is for Vedic Astrologers :-

Though the listing of the zodiac signs start with Aries. The actual listing of nakshatras start with Krittika. AND THE WHOLE OF KRITTIKA NAKSHATRA IS IN TAURUS. OR IN OTHER WORDS THE FOURTH PADA OF REVATI IS IN ARIES. REVATI DOES NOT END WITH PISCES.

For example... After using Yukteswar Ayanamsha if the planet Mars is in Aries in the First Pada of Krittika. And if the zodiac is moved in a counterclockwise direction by One Pada, ( 3°20'00" ). THEN MARS WILL STILL BE IN KRITTIKA FIRST PADA BUT IN TAURUS. This 3°20'00" MUST NOT be added to the ayanamsha. After the horoscope is cast using Yukteswar Ayanamsha (Chart Style "South Indian Regular") you should manually move the zodiac in the counter clockwise direction by 3°20'00". I cannot be clearer than this.

And it is high time the government of India started using Swami Sri Yukteswar's Ayanamsha for fixing their holidays.

And for fixing the dates of the incidents in The Mahabharata I used the FREEWARE Vedic Astrology Software Jagannatha Hora v.7.33. { I cross checked the eclipses from NASA Web-Site. } This program is not giving an ayanamsha of 00°00'00" on 22 Mar. 499 even after selecting "Yukteswar Ayanamsha". I used this program for the simple reason that it's FREE. I hope P.V.R. Narasimha Rao the author of Jagannatha Hora corrects it.
